CHAMP Spikes On Winner Of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Classic
CHAMP is proud to add another win on the PGA Tour this week making it 24 wins for the season. As always there are many players who bring newsworthy stories of achievement and many who choose the #1 Brand on Tour to bring them there.
The Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Classic certainly has many stories to offer. Topping the news and coming in with six consecutive birdies in the final nine holes, the winner of this tournament is a long time supporter of CHAMP spikes and won wearing the ScorpionSTINGER™ spikes. This champion adds this win to a list of achievements this year. He is leading the money list on both the PGA Tour and European Tour and slated to be the No. 1 Player in the World. His consistent play this year on both tours has brought many accolades from colleagues and fans across the globe.
CHAMP takes great pride in knowing this player continues to choose the World Leader In Sport Cleat Technology® for his playing needs. In addition to the champion, CHAMP spikes were worn by six of the top ten finishers and notably two of the top ten were wearing the CHAMP Zarma® spikes. Zarma has also had incredible results in its inaugural year on tour placing in the top ten many times thus far.
Three More Wins For CHAMP Spikes On Professional Golf Tours
This week CHAMP spikes adds three more wins to an already impressive record for 2011 on the professional golf tours. CHAMP has celebrated over 73 wins and countless weeks of being on top the leader board this year. The remarkable part is that the weekly wins include all of the professional tours, a variety of players and an array of products offered by the World Leader In Sport Cleat Technology®.
CHAMP spikes were worn by the winner of the Portugal Masters played at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura. In only his fifth European Tour event, the winner competed in the popular ScorpionSTINGER™ to take his first title and be recorded as the youngest to win in this event. He was joined by an overwhelming 79% of the entire field also competing in CHAMP spikes and seven of the top ten finishers.
At the McGladrey Classic in St. Simons Island, Georgia another story unfolded as the winner won in a playoff situation to become the champion. He was joined by six of the top ten finishers as he took his first tour victory of the season.
On the LPGA tour, the final champion won the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia event with a one-stroke lead to take her first title of 2011. She also competed in the ScorpionSTINGER. With this win the champion has ten top ten finishes this year and is fourth in the Rolex Rankings.
CHAMP Zarma and FLYtee Played by Winner of Madrid Masters
Marlborough, MA– The Monday morning golf news showed that there is still great golf being played as the end of the year approaches. Today was a great day to celebrate for the company known as the #1 Brand on Tour®. The champions of both the Madrid Masters and the Frys.com Open played remarkable golf wearing CHAMP spikes.
On the European Tour, CHAMP is pleased to announce that the champion of the Madrid Masters won his first European Tour International victory wearing CHAMP Zarma® Spikes. CHAMP Zarma Spikes were introduced on tour less than a year ago and after seeing the number of players changing to the Zarma spikes growing each week, a future win seemed predictable. There were seven players in the top ten playing in CHAMP spikes and of the entire field 72% also chose CHAMP spikes.
Along with the Zarma Spike additional great news is that the champion in Madrid played using the new Zarma FLYtee™, also new to the market. The FLYtee has quickly become a draw for players looking for a performance tee. In similar fashion to the Zarma spikes, each week more and more players are switching to the FLYtee.
At the Frys.com Open there was a dramatic ending as the two CHAMP wearing players went six playoff holes before the final champion won his first PGA Tour event played at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin California. The winner was also joined at the top of the leader board by additional CHAMP supporters as half of the final competitors also completed the tournament wearing CHAMP spikes.
