CHAMP/MacNeill Engineering Worldwide – The World Leader in Sport Cleat Technology® and maker of innovative CHAMP spikes – continues to strengthen its relationships with collegiate programs by exhibiting their entire range of products, including the new PiviX™ spike, grip lines and Zarma FLYtee among others, at Booth #314 during the 2015 Golf Coaches Association of America National Convention, December 7-9 in Las Vegas, NV.
Recently adopted by the #1 ranked golfer in the world, PiviX is a brand new spike from CHAMP that is ideally suited for the walking player. This lightweight, low profile design incorporates spring-flex traction technology engineered to ergonomically feed the spikes into the turf to provide optimum traction throughout the rotation of the swing. Pivix spikes are currently available in the new SLIM-Lok fastening system. All SLIM-Lok spikes will fit TRI-LOK®, TOUR LOCK and Fast Twist® system shoes.
Beyond the wide range of spike options, CHAMP is paving the way for its 2016 grip lines with the introduction of the new C1X putter grip, featuring an oversized parallel-taper design, and C2X full swing grip, a premium rubber offering. At the top of the collection is the Kevlar infused C8 model, which features a Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) compound that delivers unmatched torque control and incredible wear resistance. All grips have built-in anti-shock layers and a tacky texture to create excellent feel and comfort in all weather conditions.
Beyond a wide range of technically-advanced spikes and grips, the company’s signature products include the CHAMP Zarma FLYtee™ series. Made from a durable plastic material and featuring a 6 prong head, the tees are designed to increase distance and accuracy. Coaches will be able to enter a raffle at CHAMP Booth #314 to win their team a bundle of custom tees and FLIX divot repair tools, among other accessories.
