Loyal CHAMP Wearer Wins Bridgestone Invitational World Golf Championship

This weekend CHAMP is proud to announce that both the winner of the World Golf Championship-Bridgestone Invitational and the Reno-Tahoe Open played in CHAMP Spikes as well as the majority of both fields. Along with this spike news, the CHAMP FLYtee™ once again is in the spotlight. In a short time being introduced and played by professional tour players, the FLYtee™ is already being played by top ten finishers and is quickly becoming a topic of conversation on tour.

At the WCG-Bridgestone Invitational, the champion enjoys his eighth win on the PGA Tour playing in CHAMP. He won wearing the ScorpionSTINGER™ Spike, the most popular spike choice of players on all of the professional tours because of the comfort, traction and durability. Seven of the top ten finishers along with 60% of the entire field played in the #1 Brand on Tour.

Over at the Reno-Tahoe Open, a new champion enters the winner’s circle also playing in CHAMP Spikes. This winner wore the ProStinger™ Spikes with dual density technology and tremendous grip. Joined by five of the top ten, tour results are consistently proving top players gravitate to CHAMP spikes for their footwear traction needs.

“This week CHAMP celebrates two wins as well as a high percentage of players playing in CHAMP Spikes and using FLYtees” states Harris MacNeill, President and CEO of CHAMP / MacNeill Engineering.” CHAMP is grateful the winner of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational has been a longtime supporter of CHAMP and wore CHAMP spikes in all eight of his wins on tour this season. We are also pleased to share the win at the Reno-Tahoe Open and wish the champion of that event many more weeks at the top of the leaderboard.”
